You would be so perfect in our den. You are everything I want in a lamp. I would even order 2 of you. You would never be alone, Leighton Lamp.
But why must you be $179?
Perhaps someday you will be mine. I will have to gaze upon you from afar, between trips to Home Goods, looking for something to rival you...but we know nothing will rival you.

P.S. I painted one wall of the den today, and I am in LOVE with it. The chairs I reupholstered on Monday (post to come, don't worry) look fantastic in front of it and the color feels positively rich. I desperately want to paint the rest of the room, but can only do one wall at a time right now.
